reading proplems in basic education

It has been occupying my mind for a long time now the causes of reading problems in BASIC EDUCATION..

Please give your points of view and suggestions here for a better improvement to our students..

Do you think that marginalizing reading in grade 1 and 2 has an effect on these problems?

Is the curriculum reflecting students' culture?

Is there a consistent use of Arabic in English classes?

Do teaching methods have an effect?

من اهم الاسباب...
استخدام اللغة العربية في حصص اللغة الانجليزية..
المفروض المدرس ما يلجىء لهالاسلوب الا للضرورة
يعني المفروض المدرس يحاول يفهم ويشرح للطالب الكلمات الصعبة باللغة الانجليزية..
وحتى لو الطالب تكلم بالعربي المدرس لازم يرد عليه بالانجليزي...

من طرق تنمية مهارة القراءة لدى الطلاب..(reading skills)
*يترك لهم المجال في الصف بالقراءة ولو شي بسيط وجزئيات بسيطة من الكتاب المدرسي..
*ينمي مهارة القراءة لدى الطلاب باخذهم لمرة وحده في الاسبوع للمكتبة المدرسية وقراءة قصص تناسب المستوى العمري والدراسي لدى الطالب.. وطلب ملخص بسيط عن ما تم قرائته ما اعطاء تعزيزات للطلاب تشجيعا لهم..
