Salam folks
This is me again! Just thought to share with you some tips that could help with learning any language. You could try them out yourself or with your students, if you're a teacher. These tips are from my personal experience learning, teaching & studying the language. So here you are:

1. Get urself in the habit of reading in the language being leaned. Never mind difficult words, just go on reading. READ & READ & READ. Later on, you’ll be surprised how much language -- and KNOWLEDGE-- you acquired! Reading does not improve ur reading skills only, but it improves ur writing skills as well!

2. WRITE and READ what you write. Write about your happy moments, sad moments, and unforgettable moments. Write your thoughts, feelings, memos. Keep a JOURNAL. NEVR MIND MISTAKES! MISTAKES are the bridge to developing ur writing. DO NOT let grammar or structure stop the flow of ur ideas, write whatever comes to mind. You can worry about grammar and structure once you feel u have no more ideas to add.

3. Never get intimidated by thinking u’re not good enough, or can’t get any better! Don’t be put off by other people ridiculing ur competence in the language. BE CONFIDENT & STRONG WILLED! SPEAK freely, the important thing is you get your msg across; if people understand what you say, then you’re doing just fine.

4. If you have a positive attitude towards the language u’re learning, u’ll have greater chances to be good at it.

5. Learning a new language expands ur horizons and opens ur mind up to the world, it makes u tougher and more knowledgeable. There are things that might not be available to you in ur 1st language, but can be accessible via another language.

Hope this helps
Cheers
